For First-Time Guests

We provide the tea utensils. You do not need to bring anything special, and you do not need to wear a kimono.

For the two experiences held in a tatami room, please take off your shoes before you step up into the room. You may keep your socks on, or be barefoot. You do not need to sit on your knees. You may sit cross-legged, or with your legs to one side, in whatever position is comfortable for you. We do not have chairs or floor chairs. If you would prefer to sit on a chair, please see the Table-Style Sado Experience.

For First-Time Guests

What's Included

The experience takes about 60 minutes. After the experience, we set aside about 5 minutes for photos, for those who would like them. Both times are estimates made before we have started holding the experiences. We will check how long the experience actually takes and revise these times if needed.
